Civics
Course Description:
CIVICS is a one semester course that covers the early history and development of our democratic system. During this semester we will be discussing the three branches of our federal and state governments and how their decisions have a major influence on each and every one of us. We will also cover the responsibilities of our local governmental agencies. Government is a subject that you will deal with every day of your adult lives. I hope to help you understand how it functions and how you can contribute to its democratic processes.
